Her horror became a reality. She opened her eye and saw a circular array of lights above her head. She was in an operation room, waiting to be cut. She looked around and through an open window, she saw the city. The electric wires merged at a junction; overlapping and entangled ran into a transformer. Blue sky, cloudless and rude. Her warm eyes; wet and impatient. She felt a discreet pain in her chest. She slowly took a deep breath and slept. The anaesthesia helped her escape the horror of present; of being entangled and pushed into living further, undesirably. She still though sensed a vague commotion in her head. She knew deep inside; sensed a fear, which travelled across her body, which would remain for decades to come. Her body was to be cut, to be made afforable to live. she prayed; if only her fear and loneliness could lose their way and end up outside her.
There's a heart, pair of lungs,
pair of eye, a brain, stomach,
intestine and many innumerable muscles.
They function, move, stretch and grow.
They are in me.
Operate and discard,
implant a new one or impart.
Its there in me, as my part.
So does remain inside me,
love and hatred, kindness and cruelty
struggle and success, lonliness and fear,
and many such innumerable emotions.
Operate and discard,
implant a new one or impart.
Change, whatever has become unaffordable.
Let me come out of me, to start back.
